Värriön ilmassa riittää hiilidioksidia männyille - The air above Varrio forest gives Carbon dioxide to Scots pines
Värriön tutkimusasemalla on tutkittu 1990-luvun alusta lähtien arktisten mäntyjen fotosynteesiä kyvettimenetelmällä. Hiilidioksidia ilmassa männyille riittää, ja yhä enenevässä määrin kun kasvihuoneilmiö etenee.
Varrio research station has measured the rate of photosynthesis since the beginning of 1990s, using "Cuvette method". The arctic Scots pines bathe in increasing Carbon dioxide above and inside the forest, thanks to continuing climate change.
